Field Trips

Field Trips:  Curriculum-based trips extend learning beyond the classroom.  Each class takes at least one trip per year to locations that are related to our literacy, social science, and science curriculums.  Some of the field trips our students have taken include Mission San Juan Capistrano, The Getty Center, The Skirball Cultural Museum, LACMA, UCLA Botanical Gardens, UCLA Ocean Discovery, Malibu Tide Pools, Ballona Wetlands, Aquarium of the Pacific, and Kidspace Children's Museum.  In addition, our students visit neighborhood sites such as the fire station, public library, banks, museums and restaurants.
